Cuisinart Adjustable Griddle Warming Rack

This is one of the more clever accessories for the griddle. What it lacks in beauty, it more than makes up for in functionality. It allows you to keep food warm, allow greasy foods to drain, and a place to set a tray or serving platter.

This Warming Rack sits close to the griddle to keep food warm with plenty of room underneath so food can still be cooked on the griddle. It fits most outdoor griddles ranging in size from 17" to 36".

Cuisinart Griddle Food Mover Stainless Steelgriddle accessories

What I like about the Cuisinart Food Mover is that you can get a lot of food moved around on the griddle in a hurry. Big and burly enough to flip or turn just about anything, this trough of a spatula excels with serving loose foods like fried rice, or scrambled eggs. If you're tired of losing bits of food off the side of your spatula on the way to the plate, then the food mover is for you!

Smash Burger Accessories

If you haven't already tried making a smash burger on the griddle there's no time to wait! Smashburger's are ground beef that is smashed onto a hot griddle forming a thin patty. Here are a few of the best griddle accessories for making the smash burger.

Lodge Grill Press

Having a sturdy and well-balanced press to smash ground beef and other meat is key to making the delicious Smashburger. One thing you want to look for when buying a grill press for smash burgers is that it has a flat bottom. Many bacon presses have ridged bottoms so if you use it to press meat onto the griddle it leaves indentations in the meat. The waves can prevent you from getting an all-over crust. Be sure and get one that has some heat protection in the handle. This grill press from Lodge is as good as any!

Keep your meat from sticking with parchment paper

How do you get the burger meat to stick to the griddle, but not to the burger press when making a smash burger?

The easiest way to keep burger meat from sticking to the press when you smash it is by using parchment paper.

Parchment paper is very versatile when it comes to burgers. For smash burgers, place a sheet between the press and the meat and simply smash the meat to the hot griddle. Then remove the parchment paper and get to cooking.

If you buy meat in bulk or are making multiple burger patties for a party parchment paper works awesome for keeping the meat separated. Especially when frozen.

The Blackstone parchment paper is just the right size and comes pre-cut in packs of 50 sheets. It also works well inside the Blackstone Air Fryer Griddle Combo's air fryer baskets at keeping food from sticking and making cleanup a breeze.

Get yourself an extra sturdy spatula

Having a sturdy griddle spatula for smash burgers is important. You need something strong enough to scrape all of the delicious meat bits from the griddle when you flip the burger. A sturdy griddle spatula also works well for scraping other food scraps and debris from the griddle surface when cleaning.

Get An Outdoor Shelter

Now that you have the accessories dialed it, its time to get a roof over your head. Having a shelter is an asset to outdoor cooking as it keeps the scorching summer rays off of the chef. They also work great during an afternoon shower for keeping the griddle going without being bothered by raindrops.

Outdoor Patio Grill Gazebo with LED Lights for Barbecue

This outdoor patio grill gazebo is a quick solution for getting some shade over your cook space. It's 8' x 5' footprint is perfect for a griddle or a grill and this unit comes packed with extra features. Led lighting, two side shelves, a ceiling hook, bottle opener, utensil holders, and a few other features make this grill gazebo a choice pick for outdoor cooking in 2020.

Lately, I have been paying attention to spatulas. They seem like a generic too, but using the right one makes a difference in all sorts of cooking!
