Air Fryer Crispy Potato Wedges are simple to make and much easier than deep frying.
This recipe comes together in about 15 minutes when it's cooked on air crisp mode in the Ninja Foodi Grill.
Are potato wedges easy to make in an air fryer?
Not only are potato wedges easy to make in an air fryer, but they are also safer to make than traditional methods.
Typically, potato wedges are deep-fried in oil. Although there's nothing wrong with deep frying, it's messy and fryer oil isn't the easiest thing to clean up afterward.
Using an air fryer limits the amount of oil but still gets them nice and crunchy.
How long does it take to make crunchy air-fried potatoes?
Depending on the thickness of the potato wedges, you can make crispy potato wedges in an air fryer in about 15 minutes. This is quite a time savings from when we made them on the Traeger grill.
What temperature should you cook these potatoes in an air fryer?
The default setting for air frying or cooking on the air crisp setting using the Ninja Foodi Grill is 390F. This temperature works fine for most recipes and will work with this dish. But since I prefer to get a nicely browned exterior to the potato I like to cook it at 400F. Although it's not much of a temperature increase, I do like the results.
