I took one look at the new Grill 'n' Serve BBQ serving trays and wondered how I didn't think of that!
People mostly think of using a grill basket for vegetables.
But a grill basket has far more uses than merely keeping veggies from falling through the grates.
I appreciate that using a grill basket prevents smaller foods from being sacrificed to the fire gods for the most part.
But I also appreciate the holes in the bottom of grill baskets for a couple of reasons.
A grill basket lets flavors in and lets juices out!
For example, if I am smoking something non-traditional on a pellet grill like Chex mix, the small holes in the bottom of the grill basket allow more smoke to flavor the food when cooking.
Those same holes do double duty. They allow rendered fats and other unwanted or juices to escape.
Although I appreciate the flavor that fats add to my foods, I don't want my dinner swimming in it.
The Grill 'n' Serve is a system of three serving trays that are designed with the outdoor cook in mind.
It's a stainless steel 5 piece set that includes 3 perforated grilling baskets, a clip and carry handle for moving the baskets, and a serving tray that all of the baskets neatly fit into.
What's so special about the Grill 'n' Serve BBQ serving trays?
Although I cook outdoors year-round, I don't always have the luxury of eating outdoors. It seems that mother nature is often throwing me curveballs and my food needs to come back into the house to be enjoyed.
You can purchase the Grill 'n' Serve BBQ serving trays at the Yukon Glory website or at Amazon.
The Grill 'n' Serve BBQ trays/grill basket will definitely be added to the list of must-have accessories.
