Maple Bacon Beer Burger

This beer burger stays moist and flavorful which will leave you reaching for extra napkins. The addition of sweet and salty maple bacon is a perfect pairing for this easy to make dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ¼ cup beer
  • 2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 4 extra-thick slices Maplewood smoked bacon cut in half, cooked crisp

Instructions
 

  • Combine Ground Beef, beer, and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into four ½-inch thick patties.
  • Place patties on grid over medium, ash-covered coals.
  • Preheat your grill
  • Grill, covered over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes
  • Cook until an instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into center registers 160°F for medium-well done, turning occasionally.
  • About 2 minutes before burgers are done, place buns, cut-side down, on the grill
  • Grill until lightly toasted.
  • During the last minute of grilling, top each burger with cheese.
  • Place burgers on bottom of buns; top with bacon slices. Close sandwiches.
