  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Wurze
  • cup bleu cheese crumbled

  • Use a whisk or spoon and stir to combine
  • Fold in the bleu cheese crumbles
  • Optional: season with salt and pepper

It's important to adjust this recipe based on your taste and personal preference. The prepared horseradish can get quite hot and some people don't prefer it that spicy.
In this case, I would encourage you to add additional mayonnaise or sour cream to mellow out the horseradish flavor.
This dish can also be made with all sour cream or all mayonnaise. You can even substitute plain yogurt for either ingredient if you prefer.
The Wurze seasoning isn't that hard to find at specialty markets and really brings a unique layer of flavor to this dish. It can be substituted with soy sauce or Worchestershire sauce and the quantity modified to your personal preference.
This sauce will stay good in your refrigerator for 3-4 days if it lasts that long.
