Chicken and Dumplings Ninja Foodi Recipe

Chicken and dumplings come together quickly in a single pot when you use the Ninja Foodi.

  • Ninja Foodi


  • 2 boneless chicken breasts cubed
  • 4 boneless chicken thighs cubed
  • 1 cup broccoli chopped
  • 1 onion diced
  • ½ cup carrot diced
  • 4 cups chicken stock low sodium
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • 1 can biscuit dough
  • 1 cup potato peeled, diced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil


  • Set Ninja Foodi to cook on sear/saute
  • add oil
  • allow oil to heat for 2 minutes
  • add diced chicken and saute for 5 minutes
  • add all vegetables and chicken stock
  • Pressure cook on high for 15 minutes
  • Allow the pressure cooker to naturally release or manually release after 15 minutes resting
  • Stir the chicken and gravy with veggies. If it is too loose, add 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 4 tablespoons of water to the mixture. Use sear saute function to allow the cornstarch slurry to come to a boil
  • cut the biscuit dough into one inch squares
  • place the dough squares on top of the chicken and gravy
  • Cook the squares for about 5 minutes or until done on the bake, broil, or air fry setting
  • serve immediately
